The days when the pandemic was in full swing… We set out on the road with curiosity to see what is happening in the sector. First Afyon… We enter the door of Pınar Marble. İbrahim Altınpınar, the chairman of the board of directors of the company, welcomes us with his usual smile. We start chatting. First we talk about the steps in the pandemic process. Altınpınar tells about the gray quarry opened in Karaman, then comes to the new factory project. His eyes are sparkling and his excitement is visible on his face. That day we realized that a factory and management building worthy of Pınar Marble is on its way…

About 2 years later… We are in Afyon again… Pınar Marble’s new ultra-luxurious factory. First of all, you feel the prestige as soon as you enter the gate… We pass the stylish and very flashy restaurant built for the employees in the garden of the factory and head towards the management office. The floor with gray stones from the Karaman Quarry attracts our attention first. The stairs leading to the second floor made of black marble, the stylish objects in this section… The common point of all of them is that they are made of stones bearing the signature of Pınar Marble.

The factory, block area, management office, which started construction in May 2021, literally makes you say “This is it”. Let’s get to the details… This new production base of Pınar has a total area of 40 thousand square meters, 20 thousand of which is closed. Blocks extracted from the company’s Denizli, Karaman and Bursa quarries will be processed in this state-of-the-art factory in Afyon. There is only one thing to say about the factory, which aims to produce over 1.5 million square meters per year. Good luck to both Pınar Marble and the Turkish natural stone sector.
