Ours is a love story. Like a nostalgic movie. Nuremberg Stone+tec is a special fair for us. Why? In 2007, Stone+tec was the first international fair of Marble Trend, which started its publishing life. Therefore, we take our place in Nuremberg Messe with great excitement and pleasure every time. And we are also happy to see that the fair develops every year.
10.800 VISITORS
Approximately 250 exhibitors from more than 20 countries had the opportunity to exhibit their products at the fair held in 4 halls between June 19-22, 2024 at Nuremberg Messe. It was announced that approximately 10.800 people, mostly from Germany and neighboring countries, visited the fair, which was dominated by companies producing natural stone machinery technologies and consumables. It was stated that Italy, India and China dominated the international visitors.
NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS INCREASED BY 20%
Compared to Stone+tec 2022, the number of exhibitors increased by 20% and the number of visitors by 12%. Mutlu Makine and Medmar took part in the fair as Turkish exhibitors. This year, Tile+tec also took place for the first time as part of Stone+tec, expanding the scope of the fair to include tiles. The young talents competition organized by the Federal Association of German Stonemasons (BIV) in the open area at the entrance of the fair attracted great interest.
THE ONLY MAGAZINE FROM TURKEY
As Marble Trend, our promise is clear. To be wherever there is natural stone trade. As the only Turkish magazine at Stone+tec, we did our part to promote Turkish stones. Our 66th issue, which we distributed in the Media Lounge, attracted close attention from the visitors. We did not forget to pose for a souvenir with the representative of Marmomacchine International as two magazines whose news is accepted as a reference by the world.
AFAG: WE ARE PROUD
Henning and Thilo Könicke, managing directors of trade fair organizers AFAG, said: “The concept of the event was successful. The combination of Stone+tec, Tile+tec and the Congress worked well. We thank the industry associations and exhibitors for their strong commitment. We are proud of how far Stone+tec has come and we continue to develop the show in the interests of the industry.” The next Stone+tec will take place at the Nuremberg Messe from June 17-20, 2026.
