Turkey is one of the leading countries in the world in natural stone production and export. It also has a great richness in colors, textures and patterns. In this country’s soil, not only a great variety of travertine kinds and shades of white/beige marble are available, but also a lot of marbles that seduce you with their different colors and patterns. When we consider the global natural stone market, an increase in demand for the grey shades of marble is noticed. Turkish natural stone industry attempts to meet this demand with grey marble quarries opened one after another. As Marble Trend Magazine, we’d like to present you 55 shades of grey marbles some of which have been in production for a long time.
Eva Grey: Its production was initiated at the quarry in Sütçüler, Isparta by the end of the last year.
Monte Bello: It’s been in production at the quarry in Eğirdir, Isparta since 2013.
Milan Grey and Premium Grey: Two different stones has been producin at the company’s quarry in Karaman since 2011.
Eldarado, Silver River, Silver Pearl, Armoni: 4 different products, whose production started at the quarry in Menderes, Izmir two years ago. All the four stones are convenient as bookmatches due to their patterns.
Baran Grey, Eagle Grey: Two different stones produced at the quarry in Akhisar, Manisa which was opened last year.
Monte Bianco: Its production started two years ago at the quarry in Yılanlı, Muğla.
Amazon Grey, Barcelona Grey, Imperial Grey:
3 different stones produced at the quarry in Aksu, Isparta since the year 2013.
Savana Grey: It’s been in production at the Gürsu Quarry in Bursa since 2003. We can say, it’s one of the pioneer greys.
Belen Grey: Its production started last year at Kemalpaşa Quarry in Bursa.
Asgard Grey: One of the new stones whose production has started this year at Muğla, Yılanlı Quarry.
Grey Emperador ve Italy Grey:
Two different stones produced at the Afyon Çay Quarry since 2019.
Afyon Grey: It’s been produced for more than 30 years at İscehisar Quarry. It’s one of the first quarries of Demmer.
Ice Stone: It’s been in production at another quarry in Afyon Çay since 2015.
Agora Grey: It’s been in production at Manisa Akhisar Quarry since 2014.
Maroon Marinace: It’s one of the grey stones at the forefront which has been produced in Kastamonu since 2007.
Ege Gümüş: It’s been produced at Muğla Yatağan Quarry since 2013.
Breccia Grey, Italy Grey, Red Grey, Titanium Grey: Four different stones produced at Güneysınırı Quarry in Karaman since 2016. Due to their patterns they are convenient to bookmatches.
Mystic Grey: It’s been produced at Seydikemer Quarry in Muğla since 2006.
Sandras Grey: It’s been produced at Muğla Köyceğiz Quarry since 2015.
Temiros: Its production started at Köprübaşı Quarry in Manisa in 2017. Having dolomite features, the product has a unique appearance due to it dark grey lines.
Maya Hui: It’s one of the new greyquarries opened this year in Sandıklı, Afyon.
Nordic Blu ve Blu Desevoy: Two stones different in character whose production started this year at Muğla Yılanlı Quarry.
Claros Grey: Its production started at Izmir Menderes Quarry in 2010.
İzmir Grey: It’s a new stone whose production started this year at the same quarry in Menderes.
Splendor: It’s a stone with a lighter shade, whose production started this year at a different quarry in Menderes, Izmir.
Ojo Gris: One of the new grey stones produced at Balıkesir Quarry.
Magnita: Its production has started at Kayseri Pınarbaşı Quarry this year. Its first samples were exhibited at Izmir Marble Fair.
Atlas Grey: It’s been in production for the last two years at Isparta Sütçüler Quarry.
3D Platinuim: It’s been produced in Marmara Island since 2013.
Royal Sofya: One of the new grey stones whose production has started this year.
Aktan Grey: A grey stone produced at Mersin Erdemli Quarry.
Pasha Grey: It’s been produced at Karaman Quarry since 2007.
Solo Grey: It’s been produced since 2014 at Manisa Soma Quarry.
Silver Travertine: It’s been produced at Emirdağ Quarry in
Afyon since 2007.
Forest Grey: It’s been produced at İscehisar Quarry since 2008.
Argent Violette: Its production started at Afyon Quarry in 2016. It’s convenient for bookmatch.
Afyon Silver: It’s been produced at İscesihar Quarry since 2001.
Tekmar New Grey: Its production has started at Konya Quarry and was launched to the market at Marble Izmir Fair.
Handsome Grey: Its production has started this year at Konya Beyşehir Quarry. Its first samples were exhibited at Izmir Marble Fair.
Sandıklı Grey: One of the new stones whose production has started at Afyon Sandıklı Quarry.
Dream Grey: It’s been produced at Balıkesir Bigadiç Quarry since 2015.
Silver Galaxy: It’s been produced at Isparta Sütçüler Quarry since 2016.
Blueberry: Its production has started at Bursa Orhaneli Quarry this year. Due to the lines and patterns on it, it’s convenient for bookmatch production.
