In life, the most sacred thing is labor. Everything that involves “labor,” everything fought for, doubles in value in our eyes. This is actually a story of “labor.” The story of 2B Stone. Two companions, Bayram Ali Gedik and Selma Yüksel, first believed in a stone. They began producing Baran Grey from the quarry they opened in the Karaman Yollarbaşı area. In 3 years, they nurtured it with effort and turned it into one of the well-known, loved, and attention-grabbing stones in the industry. Receiving requests from countries ranging from Italy to China, India to Egypt for Baran Grey, the two partners set sail toward new horizons with 2025.
THE ADDRESS IS AGAIN KARAMAN
The address is again Karaman, but this time the product is different. The new stone added to 2B Stone’s production portfolio is light travertine. The stone, which will be fully operational in April from the Karaman Travertine Quarry, has two major advantages. The first is its color. According to Bayram Ali Gedik, one of the company partners, this new travertine, with a “limestone-style” light color, is also very suitable for vein cut cutting, which is in high demand.
NEW GOAL: ONYX
When Gedik explains the company’s 2025 strategy, he highlights another new goal: “We really put a lot of effort into Baran Grey. Seeing the results of our efforts today is a special pleasure. Now, we want to achieve the same success in travertine. We expect the light travertine we extract from Karaman to receive significant demand from the industry. Our R&D studies for the upcoming process are ongoing. Our goal is to start an onyx quarry in the near future.”
