Undoubtedly, the natural stone sector has ‘areas of specialization’… There are companies that specialize in block sales, those that process beautiful blocks, plate warehouses… There are also companies that focus on projects. Like Butikmar… Butikmar is actually one of the newer companies in the natural stone sector… However, it works hard, uses technology in the best way and keeps customer satisfaction at the forefront. As a result, success comes with it. The company’s two recent projects explain its meticulousness and working model.

One of these projects is in Qatar… Butikmar has put its signature on the ground works of an extremely large and prestigious shopping center project. After the selection of stone suitable for the project, the approval of the customer and the cutting of the stones, dry-lay application was started. Ahmet İri, CEO of Butikmar, explains the dry-lay application and the project: “We place the stones, whose production process is completed in our warehouse, in accordance with the project. In the meantime, we take photos and videos using a drone camera and present them to the customer for approval. If there are requests for changes, we do this, and finally, we number the stones according to the shape approved for dry-lay application. The customer can complete the project without any surprises.”

The other project is smaller in scope than the Qatar project, but has a much more interesting story. In this bathroom project in Singapore, Italian stones were used with Turkish craftsmanship. Upon the preference of the architects, Italian Palissandro stones were imported, dry-laid in Butikmar’s warehouse, approved by the customer and sent on their way to Singapore. Ahmet İri underlines the following point here: “Our Singapore project was perhaps not a very big project. However, it is a source of pride for us to be a Turkish company preferred for the supply and application of Italian stone.”
