Having been founded jointy by a Chinese firm Huandi Stone and Balmahmut Marble, Sunrise Marble activated two quarries in two years, one of which is beige and the other one is grey
Paths of Huandi Stone, which operated in China, and Afyon-based firm Balmahmut Marble, crossed in 2016. Owners of the firms Zhiliang Wu and Erdal Ayva came together and shook hands to make investmens in Turkey. Having founded a new firm under the name of Sunrise Marble, the partners opened a new quarry in Yalvaç region of Isparta and started to produce New Baiyulan. After completing their investmens in the quarry, they opened a grey quarry this time in Sütçüler, Isparta and Tundra Grey, a sought-after stone for many projects, started to be produced.
In the last Xiamen Fair, the partners displayed their products and won great acclaim. Stating that they considered 2016 and 2017 as investment years, Erdal Ayva, one of the partners of Sunrise Marble, expressed that they target to produce nearly 45-50 thousand tons a year in 2018 and went on saying, ‘’Our stones are currently exported to China only. As we increase our capacity, we’ll meet the demands coming from India and Taiwan as well. We have three principals in this partnership. The first one is honesty, the second is high quality standards in production and the third one is export with the right price.’’ Erdal Ayva added that they plan to make new investments in different sectors with their Chinese partners.
