Pusula Marble, Turkey’s rising star in the block export, aimed higher during the pandemic. Having taken the 7th place of the podium at the “Stars of Export” night organized by the Istanbul Mineral Exporters’ Association (İMİB) in 2018, Pusula Marble completed 2019 in the 6th place. The Diyarbakır-based company’s goal for 2020 is to be among the Top 3 in exports.
Stating that they had a strong presence in the Chinese market, Etkin Cihangiroğlu, the board chairman of Pusula Marble, said, “In addition to our grey stones and Emperador, which we supply from our quarries in Adıyaman and Mersin, we started beige export from our quarry in Hani, Diyarbakır this year. We are striving to increase our exports despite the world’s problematic atmosphere.”
