It is very valuable to catch the fashion and analyze the changes in the natural stone sector. Baroque Doğaltaş is one of the companies trying to read the market correctly in this sense. In order not to miss the gray fashion, the company opened a quarry in Isparta Sütçüler in 2020 and entered Baroque Grey production, and achieved a successful graphic. Baroque Doğaltaş, which exports blocks to China and India and slabs to the US and Arab markets, has not been indifferent to the movement in the beige market for the last year.
Company official Mehmet Cem Orhan stated that they reactivated the Isparta Eğridir Beige Quarry, where they suspended production in 2020 due to the pandemic and unfavorable market conditions. Stating that they named their newly produced stone Ottoman Beige, Orhan said, “We believe that Ottoman Beige will be among the preferred beiges with its strong structure and light color. We decided to focus on beige in production. We will present our new stone to the sector for the first time at Bursa Block Fair.”
Underlining that the demand for beige has increased in the sector, Orhan said, “As Baroque Natural Stone, we are trying to read the market well. As of October 1, we started beige production. In the first stage, we plan to produce 2500-3000 tons of block marble per month. In line with customer demands, we can increase our production capacity by 25% in 2024.”
