Cappucino, one of Gökyar’s brand stones, was preferred in the Istanbul Finance Center, one of the most magnificent projects in the history of the Republic…
A prestige project… One of the most magnificent works in the history of the Republic… A candidate to become the apple of Istanbul’s, even Turkey’s, eye. A project that has been talked about from the moment it started construction in Ataşehir, a project that aims to turn Istanbul into an international financial center… A giant that sits at the intersection of Ottoman, Seljuk and modern Turkish architecture, bringing together the Central Bank, the tallest building in Europe with 72 floors… Istanbul Finance Center… And one of the well-established companies in the natural stone sector that is proud to sign such a project… Gökyar Marble…
Let’s first tell a little about the Istanbul Finance Center, which was inaugurated by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in April… IFC, built on an area of 3.4 million m2, is a giant with its 1.4 million m2 office area, 100 thousand m2 shopping center and 2,100-person congress center… In this giant project, we see Cappucino, one of Gökyar Marble’s brand stones. Cappucino, which was preferred for the outdoor floors of IFC, was used in 60×120, 60×60 and 30×60 sizes.
Fatih Keleş, Export Manager of Gökyar Marble, gave information about the project: “Cappucino was used in a total area of 55 thousand square meters within the scope of the project. 5 centimeter thick stones produced in our own factory with sandblasting model were laid outdoors. First of all, it is an honor for us as a company to take part in such a giant project. We will continue to take part in prestigious projects.”
