Imagine a stone that defies time… A stone that carries the footprints of history… A stone that has never lost its popularity through the ages… Undoubtedly, we are talking about travertine. We are at one of the companies whose presence in Turkey’s travertine production sector is steadily growing — Hasmar Marble. With production exceeding 4,000 tons of travertine per month from four different quarries, Hasmar stands out as a rising power in natural stone. To get to know the company more closely, we turn to Halil Ürün, Chairman of the Board of Hasmar Marble.

Production with Italian Technology
Hasmar operates four quarries in Gökbez, Niğde, producing light travertine and noche travertine. A portion of the stone extracted from the quarries opened in 2023 is exported as blocks, while the rest is transported to Hasmar’s factory in Torbalı, İzmir. Built on a 30,000-square-meter site with 12,000 square meters of indoor space, the factory is fully equipped with Italian technology. The travertine blocks brought to the facility are processed with the highest precision and presented to the global market at premium quality standards.

Customer Satisfaction First
Halil Ürün, Chairman of the Board of Hasmar Marble, is meticulous and detail-oriented when it comes to production. He describes the journey of stones from the quarry to their final form as “the process of transforming natural stone into a work of art.” Emphasizing that production according to international quality standards is an absolute prerequisite, Ürün adds: “We embrace our customers’ demands with a mindset of perfection and strive to deliver service that truly makes a difference. We are growing not only through product quality but also through service excellence — continuously enhancing the value of our brand.”
