Yılanlı… One of the favorites of the natural stone sector with the special stones that have been quarried recently… This beautiful town of Muğla has another important feature. The stones quarried in the region are almost identical to the ‘brand’ white stones of Italy… Turkmar is one of the companies that opened a quarry in Yılanlı and brought Italian inspiration to the Turkish natural stone sector. The whites produced from the Yılanlı Quarry, which the company opened in 2022, were exhibited for the first time at Marble Izmir last year and dazzled with their elegance.
These new products bearing the signature of Turkmar are presented to the sector with two new names. Aqua Bianco and Eterna Bianco… The stone Aqua Bianco, which has a more vibrant structure with more intense blue and navy blue veins on a white background, can become a work of art a a Bookmatch. Eterna Bianco, on the other hand, has a simpler, whiter, elegant and sparkling beauty.
Bilal Şensoy, member of the Board of Directors of Turkmar, emphasizes that the stones from the Yılanlı Quarry have managed to attract the attention of the sector in a short period of one year: “We have a really special product. It is special with its elegance and durability. Within a year, we have realized serious sales especially in the European and US markets. We are confident that we will reach an even better point in 2023.”
