The natural stone sector is a huge one with a total export capacity of $2 billion. Just like the main players in the sector, some assister players have an important role, too. Sem&Tor Ambalaj, which operates in Torbali, Izmir, is at the forefront with corrugated cardboard production for the natural stone sector. Producing boxes, parcels, separators and other packing products, the company also offers offset printing, lamination, and flexo printing services. Murat Tor, Sem&Tor’s general director, says, “With our corrugated cardboard production, we meet the natural stone and ceramic sectors’ needs such as tiles, mosaics, furniture boxes, interlayers, and separators. Our facility has a production capacity of 7500 boxes and 100.000 separators daily.”
