Şentaş rises on the shoulders of the most valuable combination in life. In fact, it is possible to understand this from the strong steps taken by the company in a short time. The story of the company begins with Honorary President Hacı Mehmet Şen’s introduction to natural stone in 1955. However, the steps taken in the last 3 years deserve applause, despite the pandemic process.
The year 2021. The slab gallery right across the İsçehisar Organised Industrial Zone opens its doors. On our first visit here, Onur Şen, General Coordinator of Şentaş, excitedly tells us about the new investment plans with light shining from his eyes. And January 2022… Those dreams have become reality. The giant factory built on a total area of 70 thousand square metres, including 18 thousand 500 square metres of closed area and 1500 square metres of showroom, starts to work. Onur Şen gives credit to technology here, but underlines the detail of experience: “We equipped our factory with the latest technology. The harmony of this technology with our company experience takes us to the highest level in production. In our slab warehouse, we have the opportunity to offer a total of 50 thousand square metres of products to our customers at the same time.”
And of course, the heart of the company, Kütahya Quarry. This is literally the birthplace of products that bring history together with the present day. Calacatta Viola and Calacatta Green are at a level that makes Italy’s branded stones look good. Let’s underline that the biggest block demand comes from Italy. A new product has been added to these two stones, which we see in historical buildings extending over the years, in the last year. It is Calacatta Venato. Like the other two products, it has dancing lines on a white background. It seems that the touch of architects will be enough for it to become a work of art with the use of Bootmatch. This new stone from Şentaş’s Kütahya Quarry is placed at the forefront of the company’s special collection.
