Hyatt Regency Izmir, which brings a breath of fresh air to city hotel management with its 160 rooms, each with a view of Izmir Bay, 10 meeting rooms spread over 2 thousand square meters and 500 square meters of foyer areas, opened its doors to its guests with the slogan “far from home but very close to home”… The hotel, where approximately 20 thousand square meters of natural stone cladding was made, is a masterpiece for the natural stone sector, from the selection of the stones used to the aesthetics in the application. Sapphirus, a production of Marmi Snakes, which is used in all areas from wet areas to wall and floor coverings in the bathrooms of suites and standard rooms, has the feature of the stone that plays the leading role.
Jim Murat Tekdemir, General Coordinator of Marmi Yılanlı, which has taken strong steps in the natural stone sector in a short time, stated that 12 thousand square meters of Sapphirus was used within the scope of the Hyatt Regency Izmir project and said, “First of all, it should be underlined that this has been one of the most valuable projects of the last period for us. We are proud to be one of the stakeholders of such a prestige project with our Sapphirus stone.”

Beige tones stand out in the general areas of Hyatt Regency Izmir in order not to get in the way of decoration elements. Ottoman Beige is used on the floor and wall coverings of the meeting and restaurant floors and all common area elevator halls. Cappuccino Beige is preferred for the terraces and room balconies. Palissandro created an extraordinary look in the bathrooms on the Penthouse floor of the hotel. Approximately 2,500 square meters of Light and Noche Travertine combination was used as exterior cladding. Travertine tables and coffee tables in the suites and Apenino River used in the bars and coffee tables in the general area are among the remarkable natural stone applications.
