After achieving a strong presence in the sector with its two onyx quarries in Köprübaşı, İvme increased its export and opened the Temiros Quarry in the same region. Opening a glorious showroom and slab warehouse in Torbalı, the company has set another route during the pandemic period.
It’s such a route that we wouldn’t be mistaken if we said that the firm has set Denizli as its new production base. The quarry opened in Gölemezli, which is the first move İvme made in Denizli, is so close to the ancient city of Hierapolis. Hierapolis and Tripolis, two selections whose production started in the region, managed to gain popularity in a short while. Hierapolis is at the forefront with its unique structure, light transparency, aesthetics. And Tripolis, which has a story dating back to ancient times with its red color, is highly demanded.
However, İvme’s move in Denizli is not limited to Gölemezli. The company now intends to open a new quarry in Çal. Savaş Pervanlar, the board chairman of İvme Group, stated that drilling operations at the Çal Quarry are quite exciting and said, “Hierapolis and Tripolis extracted at the Gölemezli Quarry made us happy. Now we started our preparations for new investment in Çal. We are going to produce onyx here too.”
