MRT is a young, dynamic and energetic company in the Turkish natural stone sector… It is also very successful. The special stone, which the company started to produce in the Konya Quarry opened in 2020 and named Aqua Luna, had become one of the most popular products of the last period. However, the news from China has recognised Aqua Luna’s success in sales with an award. The Kylin Mansion Project, where Aqua Luna is the ‘main stone’, was awarded the Luban Award in China.
Let’s first explain the Luban Award… It is named after Luban, the famous architect and carpenter of China who lived in the 5th century BC. We can say that it is the most important and highest level award given in the construction sector in China since 1987. In other words, the Oscar of the construction industry… This special award was given to the Kylin Mansion Project, which was built in Schenzen and became sparkling with Aqua Luna in 2022.
The project, starring Aqua Luna, which is called MRT Castle Grey and MRT Guba Hui in China, spreads over a total area of 43 thousand 972 m2. In the natural stone applications of the project, we see the signature of Joyace Jiayin Stone, one of MRT’s business partners in China. In fact, this success of MRT points us to two important philosophies on the way to the goal. When we consider the sentences “It all starts with dreaming” and “We don’t like to say impossible” on the company’s website together with this magnificent award, we can only applaud.
