İstinyePark, which was opened by Orjin Group and chosen by ICSC (International Commercial Centers Council) as the best mall in Europe in 2009, now says “hi” to Izmir. Having a total of 90 thousand indoor space, 280 shops, 54 cafés & restaurants, a 5-star hotel with 161 rooms, it is a project worth $450 million. In the mall section of İstinyePark, 24 thousand square meters of natural stone were used. Four types of natural stone shine out in the project. İlan Marble’s favorite beige Moon Cream, Topkara Marble’s Arana Maroon, Are Mining’s Dark Emperador and Aytaş Akın Mabrle’s Moonstone Silver stones share the leading role. At the 3-floor shopping mall, these stones lie in the corridors and walkways, and aesthetical motives formed in its wide squares create a mobile and beautiful atmosphere.

The exterior of İstinyePark was covered with Noche and Medimum Travertine. Since Turkey is the biggest travertine producer in the world, and the travertine material is the best covering material in warm climates like Turkey, they decided to use the same material.
