Pınar Marble is one of those firms that is climbing the steps one by one in the natural stone industry. Starting travertine production at its quarry in Denizli with great success, Pınar Marble had realized another investment by the end of 2017. The firm had started white marble production at a quarry bought in Bursa and achieved great results also in that field. Opening DoubleTree By Hilton Afyon before the pandemic, Pınar Marble hasn’t lost any of its momentum in 2021. The firm keeps growing thanks to both its new factory and the new grey quarry that was opened in Karaman.

Let’s hear about the factory first. Built next to Pınar Marble’s headquarter in Afyon, the factory has a total area of 40 thousand square meters, 20 thousand of which is a closed area. The factory, whose construction started in May 2021, is expected to start production in December. Pınar Marble’s new base, which will come to life with an investment of 75 million TL, will produce 1.5 million square meters of stone each year. Blocks extracted at the company’s factories in Denizli, Bursa and Karaman, are going to be processed at the factory in Afyon.

Let’s pass to the grey quarry. Pınar Marble keeps up with the “grey trend” whose popularity has been increasing for the past three years. The company started grey production with the new quarry it opened in Karaman. İbrahim Altınpınar, the board chairman of Pınar Marble, said, “These are our first steps with our grey stone. However, the attention it attracts is satisfying. We are equipping our factory in Afyon with cutting-edge technology. With this technology, we are aiming at increasing our production speed and offering the most qualified products to international markets.”
